UTSA brings a 6-1 start and four-game streak to Tulane tonight

The Roadrunners, 3-0 in the American Conference, kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, on ESPNU and AM 760 The Ticket.

UTSA football leaves Texas for the first time this season tonight. The Roadrunners (6-1, 3-0 in the American Conference) play at Tulane (3-3, 1-1) on Saturday, Oct. 24, with kickoff at 7 p.m. at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, per UTSA Athletics.

UTSA has won four straight, and 6-1 is its best seven-game start since the 7-0 team of 2021. The latest: a 38-34 win over Navy on Oct. 17 at the Alamodome, which made the Roadrunners bowl eligible for the seventh straight year. Tulane comes in off a 31-17 home win over Memphis.

UTSA leads the series 2-1, but Tulane won the only meeting in New Orleans, 29-16 in 2023.

Watch on ESPNU or the ESPN app, or listen on AM 760 The Ticket. Heads up: the Spurs tip off at Dallas at the same hour. After tonight, UTSA has a bye before playing at Florida Atlantic on Thursday, Nov. 5. — Nico
